As I’m starting this story, I don’t know if it should be defined as fiction or fact. I’m hoping to push the limits of my dreams and fantasies into the realm of reality as much as I can through this medium. I do a lot of day dreaming. I think about how things could be better. I focus on the best feelings that I know(pure love) and from there, I draw lines back to what I see as real using my imagination. So it is my mission with this work to describe some of these lines or paths to pure love. The word that comes to mind is the rebel city. The natural progression of these, the purest ideals in our world, which are being treated as immature and childish, IS the rebellion - the rejection of our ideals and understandings that are so obviously beneficial for all  is wholly unacceptable. When we look at the word rebellion with our culturally programmed goggles, we see violence, we see separation and all kinds of negative stuff. We must keep in mind what it is we are creating with the rebel city - A new identity. You could say removed from the parents, but the parents taught us how not to live and their lessons will always be a strong motivating force in our development. We are not separating, we are taking responsibility for ourselves and growing as WE see fit. If the ideals we wish to aspire to are reflective in our actions, these rebel cities will empower all humanity to be free to love with all their might and to be free of the illusions that removes us from that love. It is our birthright to reject the old systems if we find they are not serving our experience - So long as we are clear in that we are taking responsibility for ourselves and that we are honestly and truly letting go of the old ways and dependencies.

With this medium, I aim to describe the vision of the rebel city. You may take it as fiction and enjoy the story for your entertainment and distract yourself from facing the reality of what we are facing here, or you can listen closely to this dream and try to make it real in the way that best suits you.

Once upon a time in a land not so long ago and not so far away there was a great and powerful empire. For many thousands of years, the empire thrived by enslaving the minds of its subjects. The empire adopted many tools  to carry out this feat. They started by spreading cleverly calculated stories that forced the listener to identify with the plight of the empire. These stories became more elaborate  over time and soon, the original message was so concealed that only the keenest observers could glean what was really going on. They adopted new mediums from books, to newspapers, to television and beyond. In between, they developed a variety of toys to distract the slaves from the truth of their captivity and oppression. Through the use of their mind control devices, the empire ensured that the people would desire these toys, so that their deepest desire - that for freedom to be connected and integrated to all that is - would be ignored. Of course these methods worked very well to control the slaves. Though, over the many thousands of years the limited perspective of the empire began to show its weakness. All this power that had been syphoned from nature(through the people’s mental and physical energy as well as their fuel sources which ultimately had to be extracted from nature) began to
show that the whole picture was not being dealt with. In this exchange of energy, in this relationship between the empire and nature, there was an imbalance. All the power rested stagnant in one place. Over time this caused much strain on the minds of the slaves. It came to a point where each individual was forced to accept that they are a paradox that is separate from that which came before(nature) and if they indulge this paradox and try to solve or balance the equation, they will be met with failure(as defined by the media). With each day this lie grew taller as the empire further attempted to removed itself from its relationship to nature. The truth right in the center of this whole mess was that nature was the very thing that created the empire and without nature the empire would die. Yet with it’s perceived knowledge that past patterns have always worked, the empire soldiered on with all its might.

Yes the trances of the empire infected all aspects of society, but their tools were not without their flaws. There is a spark in each being that knows the truth. Sometimes it takes a while for things to line up just so,but all it takes is one moment to notice that spark. Many through the ages recognized this spark in themselves and attempted to craft their own message to help connect others to this spark of truth. Many of these people were discovered and eradicated by agents of the empire, in some instances, they even stole the message itself and contorted it to further the agenda of the empire - further concealing and confusing their true agenda. Again and again seekers would arise and the empire would quickly dispatch of them until they eventually moved into the shadows. In the shadows they stayed until many many years later when a new tool was desperately released with the hopes of creating more control structures - The inter-web. This tool was more than the empire could have hoped for. Acting as a back door into each home, now the empire could access all kinds of personal data which they could not with other means. The flip side of this tool was that there was in fact so much information on so many people in such free, unstandardized expression, the data could not be quantified and processed and so the people found a way to connect to the collective that was not based on the empire’s agenda.  The empire began to strategize and found they could use the inter-web to reinforce desire for the empire’s toys and this became the socially acceptable use for the inter-web. Thanks to it’s open ended and  modular nature, the inter-web also became a perfect accommodation for the truth seekers. Now one could speak in relative confidence to others about these matters without fear. Networks upon networks formed to discuss the findings of individual’s experiences. After an untold span of time there was finally a place to start the discussion to revise the activities that all the empires subjects were taking part in. They began to discuss the reality of the situation - The simple truth that they were born from nature and were inherently a part of it(less the imaginary language division of course) - The necessity to integrate with nature in order to create a sustainable future - The ridiculous and outdated assumptions of the old stories handed down by the empire. The vision became clear for all to see - at least for those who chose to see. It became apparent that there was a better way to conduct themselves. Cooperation, integration, Love and nurturance towards all manor of relationships.

At this point the seekers had come together and created such beauty in their dreaming of the new world that the empire could only stave off a handful of minds from turning over to the radiance of the new vision. The crumbling empire staged  several large dramatic and despicable displays with the hopes of recapturing some of their wandering slaves. They recaptured a few minds but at this time, there were enough seekers who were sure of their place in nature and in their new found community that they could not be reintegrated into the empire. Feeling the desperation of the empire, the seekers knew it was time to make their move. The resonant communities came together and put forth a plan to free the people from the tyranny of the empire. They would begin work in 3-dimensional space on what they termed rebel cities. These rebel cities were built to be completely integrated into the natural order and their function was only to compliment nature with their being. Its people were dedicated to servicing each other and their environment. Due to the rebel city’s integrated nature, the empire could no longer detect their presence. They were camouflaged in the increasingly vibrant, abundant, beautiful, lush natural world. From these rebel cities the seekers were able to apply their understanding and ideals and to everyday life. Each individual had their challenges and adjustments but this resistance, this willingness to face the challenge ensures that  every aspect of society embodies maintaining this ever flowing relationship with nature and each other. Inevitably, the empire continually dwindled in both power and following as their people eventually began to see through the empire’s blatant lies. Soon the empire was but a shadow of a memory, yet far into the unmeasured expansiveness of the time, the story of wholeness and love triumphing over division and fear was told to all the children of the new world so that each could carry this pattern on into their own lives for the sake of their own integration into a balanced and loving relationship with all being.
